We currently have a full sister to this boy in work and have been very impressed with what we have seen to date. She was considered to be one of the best moving fillies of the 2024 crop to be broken in by one of Victoria’s leading breakers – Shaun Nolen. Since she has been at our stables she has validated his opinion and we are looking forward to getting her to a trial in the coming months.
Vitruvian Lass was unraced but showed enormous ability as a 2yo. She was correct and a beautiful mover and hails from a very progressive black type family including Stakes winners such as Stokehouse, Malasun and Malaboom. The cross with Kermadec is a proven 20/20 mating with the Teofilo/Reset cross already producing Group success.
Kermadec is a dual G1-winning racehorse and is now a Classic sire. He has sired 4 individual G1 winners, as well as the G2 winning juvenile Trobrian. Kermadec’s top-liners include four-time G1 winner Montefilia, G1 Queensland Oaks winner Amokura, G1 VRC Oaks champion Willowy and G1 Toorak Handicap victor Tuvalu.
He has the proven ability to sire good-looking high class racehorses including Horse Of The Year: Lim’s Kosciuszko, Group placed Hong Kong performer Running Glory and impressive G2 The Roses winner Scarlet Oak.
This colt is VOBIS nominated (Sires, Silver, Gold and Platinum) which means he is eligible to race for more than $20m worth of bonus prizemoney that is on offer for selected races to qualified horses.
