Special Alert is a group winning mare by NOT A SINGLE DOUBT. She was purchased as a broodmare for $375k at the 2019 Inglis Chairman’s Sale and belongs to a progressive family that includes her half-brother TRULY GREAT, an impressive G1 winner who accumulated more than $1.1m in prizemoney from 14 starts.
This boy has all the right attributes to be a success on the track. He is an athletic and beautifully moving horse with an excellent temperament and has impressed us in his gallops to date. He is the complete professional and is fast. He is due to trial in the coming weeks and we are hoping to get him to the races this prep.
Pierata’s first crop of yearlings have been considered nothing short of excellent with leading trainers and bloodstock agents giving them much praise and this was reflected in the sales ring, so we think it was a great get to secure this boy.
We got him for $145,000 + GST and he is Super VOBIS nominated and VOBIS Gold qualified. He has clean x-rays and scope.
