Making her racing debut at Mornington over 1000m, Mosaqua scored an impressive victory on Sunday in the Mornington Food Truck Carnival 3yo+ Maiden and looks to have a promising future ahead of her.
Although drawing what could have been a tricky outside barrier, she showed great gate speed to jump well and settle just outside the leader.
From there she was able to control the race and take the lead coming into the home straight.
Kicking away from her opponents, Mosaqua continued to extend her lead and hit the line 3.75l ahead of the field.
The resounding win comes as no surprise to the team as she has been working very well and doing all that has been asked of her and showing good ability along the way.
