Following a number of seconds and an eye-catching run in town at Moonee Valley on a Friday night, Prussian Vixen finally broke through for her maiden victory in the most commanding of manners at Mornington on Sunday.

Resuming from a spell over the spring, in her first race back she finished 3.4l from the winner at Moonee Valley on December 18, producing one of the fastest sectional times of the race and confirming to the team there were better things to come.

This good form was continued at Mornington on December 27 where she jumped quickly and led the field from the start. Never challenged, she cruised to victory by 5 lengths.
